There’s nothing we enjoy more than rescuing treasures and getting them into the right next set of hands, so when this old letterpress type reached us in a jumble, we sat right down and started sorting it (because that’s just what we’re inclined to do at junket).

Lead type has analog mystique: letterpress has been around for hundreds of years, and the things we choose to communicate with our words impact our lives in important ways…

Art is about communication, and artists of all disciplines find ways to incorporate words into their pieces. We figure this batch could generate tools and messaging for way more folks if we take the time to list it here: these bits and pieces can be used for all sorts of things: clay impressions, markmaking on paper, jewelry…

This listing is for the tiny treasures, the MiXeD-uP LeTtErS, the fun that comes with playful fontwork. You choose your alpha-beta options, and we’ll choose the mix from among our assortment…our goal is to keep things moving while we get some of our more font-specific type and text items prepped and posted. The letters you receive will vary in size between 8pt-16pt using a range of fonts. We’ll make sure they look rad together.

Condition is used. We just call that character, though.
