Good guidance
If you’ve ever asked me for business advice, chances are good that I’ve encouraged you to get familiar with the writing of Seth Godin.
It’s funny– I’ve only ever read a couple of his books — but his blog? I devour every single one of his daily posts — because Seth has made a 20+ year habit of taking the high road — of building healthy relationships, of creating connection, of advocating for ethical conduct (even when the rules allow you to get away without it), developing resilience, and of encouraging seasoned and would-be entrepreneurs alike to simply show up each day and do good work.
If you’re trying to figure out how to escape the rat race and carve out a thoughtful niche, there’s no one better than Seth to get you revved up as you consider what you’ll bring to an already crowded market.
And if you’re trying to figure out how to be a more thoughtful consumer, well, he’s great for that, too.
BTW- I’ve recently begun writing actively about my best resources because I’ve found it a challenge to keep moving Junket forward while having detailed 1:1 conversations with everyone who asks to pick my brain about the stuff I’ve learned during this entrepreneurial adventure…
I’ve also begun offering periodic discussion sessions (free to the public) where I share Junket’s start-up story and open the floor for extended Q&A… If you’d like to join me for one of those, signing up for Junket’s mailing list or following the shop’s Event feed on Facebook are two ways to be in the know.
Or, just keep reading the blog — there’s some history to catch up on — and lots more to come.
xo,
